The East Herts Corinthian Sunday Football League rose from the ashes of the old Hertford and Ware friendly league, which was set up in 1993 to provide a cup competition for 16 local pubs and works friendly sides.

The league has had its difficulties since then but reached its zenith in 2001 when our league representative side won the Herts FA Sunday interleague cup for the first time by beating the Watford observer league 1-0.

Proving that size is no substitute for quality.

Unfortunately, the competition is no longer running but the name of ehcsfl will always be on the trophy.
