March Newsletter

Division 1

Congratulations to Goffs Oak who now can’t be overtaken by any of the chasing clubs.  Runners up position, is a close run thing and it is perm any one from 3 – Jubilee, New Riverside and Rosemill – good luck to all 3 sides.

Division 2

The title has still to be decided although Millstream are currently in the box seat, although if results went their way they can be unseated by FC Boca.  This race could go all the way to the finishing line – good luck to both sides.

Division 3

This race has almost run its’ course with Buntingford Cougers needing just a single point to win the title.  Of the chasing pack of 3, Real Potters Bar have the slight edge over their rivals in coming second as Cuffley Reserves and Ware Saviours have to go head to head on 2 occasions.  Good luck to all in the forthcoming weeks games.

Cup Competitions

We now have the runners and riders in all 3 of the league cups.

Division 1 – Goffs Oak          V         Rosemill

Division 2 – FC Boca            V         White Lion

Division 3 – Cuffley Res        V         Real Potters Bar

Congratulations and good luck to all 6 sides and lets hope we have 3 great finals.

The League Challenge Cup semi finals will be contested on 12th April by Cuffley Res, FC Boca, New Riverside and White Lion – good luck to all sides and may the best teams progress to the final.

Both the Divisional Plate and the Jubilee Cup have many twists and turns left and if any side can put in a good burst of results over the forthcoming weeks they will have a good chance of reaching the finals of either of the competitions.

Finally I would like to apologise to anyone in advance if they are asked to play a midweek game but unfortunately due to the overloading of fixtures that we have remaining this may be necessary.  If any team can’t fulfil a fixture during midweek please let me know, unfortunately if an alternative date can’t be slotted in then the fixture will have to be forfeited.  Due to it being midweek NO fines will be levied against any team as long as we have 3 days notice.

Thank you in advance for your help and cooperation with these fixtures.
